Terms of Use.

This site gives information about the in-home care services Love at Home offers in the St. Louis metro, and it lets you ask for a free in-home assessment or apply for a caregiver job.

• It is not medical advice. We are a non-medical in-home care agency. Nothing on the site is a diagnosis, treatment, or a substitute for the advice of a doctor, nurse, or other clinician. Care decisions are made with the client's own plan and clinicians.
• It is not an emergency service. In an emergency, call 911. Do not use the forms, email, or voicemail for an emergency.
• It is general information. Details about Medicaid, Consumer Directed Services, Healthy Children and Youth, veterans benefits, and other programs are general. Whether you qualify is decided by the agency that runs each program, not by this site.

You must be at least 18 years old to use the forms. If you ask for care for someone else, you must be a family member, a legal guardian, or a person they have asked to act for them. The assessment is free and carries no obligation. Sending a request does not make you a client and does not promise that we can provide care. Services begin only after an assessment and an agreed care plan.

Please give information that is true, complete, and current. Do not pretend to be someone else, and do not send information about another person unless you have the right to share it. If an application contains false or incomplete answers, we may reject it or withdraw an offer.

Do not misuse the site. That includes sending spam or automated submissions, trying to break into or disrupt the site, or collecting its content in bulk. Typing your name on the application works as your electronic signature, as the form explains.

Submitting an application does not create an employment contract, and it does not guarantee an interview or an offer. Any offer will be made in writing, and it depends on the steps described on the Careers page, including reference verification and screening through the Missouri Family Care Safety Registry.

The text, images, logo, and design of this site belong to Love at Home or its licensors. You may view the site and print pages for your own personal use. You may not copy, republish, sell, or build on our content for commercial purposes without our written permission.

The site may link to other websites and includes an embedded Google Map. We do not control those services and are not responsible for their content or their privacy practices. Their own terms apply when you use them.

We work to keep the site accurate and available, but it is provided "as is" and "as available." We do not promise that it will always be error-free, uninterrupted, or up to date. We also cannot promise that you will qualify for a program, that funding will be approved, or that a caregiver will be available in your area or at your preferred time.

To the fullest extent Missouri law allows, Love at Home is not responsible for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses that come from using the site or from not being able to use it.

Nothing in these terms limits any responsibility the law does not allow us to limit. These terms also do not change the written agreement we make with a client once care begins; that agreement covers the care itself.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Missouri. Any dispute about the site or these terms will be heard in the courts of St. Louis County, Missouri, and you agree to that location.

We may change the site or these terms at any time. The "Last updated" date at the top of the page shows the latest version, and the new version applies from the day it is posted. If you keep using the site after that, you accept the changes.
